How Context Labs handles information on this website and in the Context Labs assistant, including information we receive from Google.

Website: the short version

The website stores one essential preference cookie so it remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics. Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept analytics.”

Website analytics data

If you consent, Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source, and interactions with the site. We disable advertising storage, Google Signals, and ad personalization in our website configuration.

Analytics reports are designed to show traffic patterns. They do not normally tell us a visitor’s name, email address, or exact street address.

The Context Labs assistant

This part of the policy covers the Context Labs assistant (the “Services”), including the hosted web app you sign in to with Google. We collect only what we need to run your assistant and the tasks you ask it to do.

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to create your account, sign you in, keep your account secure and show your name and picture in the app.

Your content. We store your conversations, files, memories, schedules and settings so your assistant can work for you and pick up where you left off. We do not use your content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Operational information. Our infrastructure records technical information such as IP addresses, request times, error types, response times and which features ran, so we can deliver the Services, keep them reliable and protect accounts. These records do not include the text of your messages or files.

Cookies. The app uses cookies that are necessary for sign-in and account security. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Information we receive from Google

Google Sign-In. We request only your basic profile (name, email address and profile picture) and use it only to create and secure your account and to personalise the app for you.

Connected Google services. If you choose to connect Google services such as Gmail, Google Calendar or Google Drive from the Integrations settings, your assistant accesses that data only to do what you ask it to do (for example, summarising your inbox, drafting a reply for your review, or checking your calendar). You can disconnect a service at any time in the app or from your Google Account’s third-party access page.

Context Labs’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models. People at Context Labs do not read your Google data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security or abuse investigations, or the law requires it.

Service providers

To generate responses and complete tasks, the inputs needed for a request (such as your message, attached files and relevant conversation context) are sent to the AI provider that performs it. The hosted assistant currently uses OpenAI and Anthropic models (Anthropic through Amazon Bedrock). Each provider handles data under its own terms: OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Web Services.

Your account and content are stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States and are encrypted at rest. When you connect apps such as Gmail or Google Calendar, the connection is handled by our integrations provider, Composio, which stores the access tokens needed to act on your behalf. We also share information with professional advisors, with legal authorities where the law requires it, and in connection with a merger, financing or sale of our business.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete conversations in the app, disconnect integrations at any time, and remove Context Labs’ access to your Google Account from your Google Account settings. To delete your account and its content, email us at the address below. We delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and where the law requires it we will also tell you in the app or by email.
